Senior programme manager moving into healthtech

A senior pharma PM with 11 years of CSV-heavy delivery work, applying for healthcare technology roles where the same work was being read as too narrow.

SITUATION

She had 11 years inside one large pharma group. Most of her CV was written in the language of CSV, GxP, and validation. Healthcare technology recruiters were reading her as a quality lead, not as a programme leader, and the screens were ending fast.

WHAT WE FOUND

On the discovery call we mapped 7 projects she had led, end to end, that had nothing to do with computer system validation. Two of them had moved entire commercial teams to a new platform inside 12 weeks. None of that work was visible on her current CV.

WHAT WE CHANGED

We rewrote the top half of the document around delivery scope, change management, and stakeholder count. CSV stayed, but as one paragraph in the technical band, not as the headline. The opening summary read like a programme leader who happened to be very strong on regulated systems, rather than the other way around.

OUTCOME

She had her first three healthcare technology screens within 18 days of the new CV going out. She accepted an offer at a US-headquartered platform inside 11 weeks. The base was 38% above her previous package.
